RAD-BIOL¶
Summary
Allows to input the name of a radiobiological data file
TPSSCOREThe only parameter relevant for this card is SDUM which can be up to 10 characters long.
- WHAT(1)
always 0
- WHAT(2)–WHAT(6)
not used
- SDUM
= any character string identifying the radiobiological data file which must be named \(<\)
SDUM\(>\).dat (max. 10 characters)- Default
no default
The formatted file contains the \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) parameters of a linear-quadratic cell-survival curve. All values are read in free format:
The first line contains \(\alpha\) (Gy\(^{-1}\)) and \(\beta\) (Gy\(^{-2}\)) for X-rays.
The second line gives the number \(N_{ion}\) of ion species (charges). Data for the first ion correspond to \(Z=1\), those for the \(i\)th ion to \(Z=i\).
For each ion, supply the number \(N_e\) of tabulated kinetic-energy-per-nucleon or LET values, followed by \(N_e\) triples: kinetic energy per nucleon (MeV/n) or LET (keV/\(\mu\)m), and the corresponding \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\).
An optional final line,
ENERGYorLET, identifies the independent variable. The default is kinetic energy per nucleon.
